REQUIREMENTS

To qualify, you’ll need to be highly responsible and have:

  • An interest in tourism and customer service
  • Proven High Ropes and/or Outdoor Adventure experience
  • A fun filled disposition with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Flexibility with working hours
  • Current Provide First Aid certificate (HLTAID011) or willingness to acquire same
  • Current Tasmanian Working with Vulnerable People Card or willingness to acquire same
  • Physically fit
  • Current Drivers Licence
  • Meet the minimum height and weight requirements for all tours: Min. 158cm and between 45-117kg.
  • Must be 18+ years of age
  • As this is seasonal work, availability over the Christmas/ summer period is a must

ASSISTANT SITE MANAGER

Want your office to be the Tasmanian wilderness?

The role of the Assistant Manager is to report and assist the Site Manager in the operation of one of Tasmania’s most breath-taking adventure attractions.

This includes but is not limited to:

  • Managing human, intellectual and physical resources
  • Developing and implementing policies and operational
  • Daily and long-term management to achieve the organisation’s goals
  • Maximising financial performance
  • Ensuring high standards of customer service and experience satisfaction within established quality
  • Taking guests on guided tours on all of our activities
  • Dealing with guest enquires, bookings and check-ins

DAILY OPERATIONS

  • Zipline  – perform daily and periodic safety checks on the zipline system along with maintenance in accordance with approval and training from system installers and annual inspectors.
  • High Ropes Course – perform daily and periodic safety checks on the high ropes course along with maintenance in accordance with approval and training from system installers and annual inspectors.
  • Segway and Mountain Bike – perform maintenance on mountain bike such as general cleaning and small repairs. Maintain Segway routes and Segway’s as per the manufacture’s recommendations.

REQUIREMENTS

To qualify, you’ll need to be highly responsible and have:

  • Full manual drivers license.
  • Proven previous management experience. With preference to experience in managing and organizing multiple teams.
  • Proven Ropes and/or Outdoor Adventure background. Proven Customer service and/or tourism background. Proven Time Management skills.
  • Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office. Familiar with POS systems.
  • Current First Aid Certificate (HLTAID011)
  • Current Working with Children’s Check.
  • Must be able to personal participate and successfully complete each experience without the assistance of staff.
  • Undertake all guided tours in a safe and timely manner.
  • Meet the minimum height and weight requirements for all tours: Min. 158cm and between 45-117kg.

  • Customer Service: Committed to providing exceptional customer service across all channels – written, phone and face to face.
  • High Communication: High level interpersonal and communication skills, and ability to manage information flow upwards and downwards, clearly and openly.
  • Thoroughness: Excellent attention to detail, with clear written skills when communicating with others, both internally and
  • Flexibility: Able to adapt and learn skills to suit the changing work environment, to ensure guests receive the best
  • Cross-functional teamwork: Always able to assist other team members, with experience to working with cross-functional teams and able to assimilate into a fast-paced
  • Time management: Accomplish objectives effectively within time frame given and carry out administrative duties within portfolio in an efficient and timely manner.
  • Problem Solving: Ability to find the right solution to ensure the smooth running of all daily operations.
  • Physical Ability: Must be able to lift heavy load (of up to 15kg) appropriately and with the help of colleagues when necessary. Must be able to personal participate and successfully complete each experience without the assistance of team members. Must be able to rescue customers with and without the assistance of other team members.
  • Excellent verbal skills.

Comprehensive site training, uniform and all necessary equipment are provided.
