General Terms and Conditions for Hollybank Wilderness Adventures

NON-REFUNDABLE BOOKING
Your booking is for a specific date/time and is non-refundable. Changes to the date and/or time of your reservation will only be considered if received 10 days prior and based on availability.

WEATHER
Our tours are an all-weather activity. Tours will only be cancelled in extreme conditions such as lightning storms and extreme winds. We will postpone tours at our own discretion and will offer an alternative departure date/time. Wet weather gear is available.

IMPORTANT

  • Arrival: 15-30min prior to your scheduled tour time. Late arrivals will not be accommodated.
  • A waiver form is required to participate. Available onsite.
  • All guests should seek medical advice if in doubt of their capabilities to participate.
  • Participants under the influence of alcohol or narcotics will not be permitted on tours.
  • Required medication can be taken on tour.
  • Tours are unsuitable for pregnant women.
  • Hollybank Wilderness Adventures reserves the right to refuse participation to anyone whom we consider may be at a safety risk to themselves or others or for any reason.
  • Groups of 10 or more: 10% discount is available. Please speak to us for large group bookings.

COVID-19 POLICY:

All Guests must adhere to Hollybank Wilderness Adventure’s COVID-19 Policy, which is written in accordance with the State Public Health Orders. The below terms apply for all participants and spectators herein referred to as (“Guests”) with sessions due to commence from 8:00am, 11th of October 2021.

  1. Where a Government (Federal or State) requires that a person must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (or any other disease or virus) or imposes a restriction or requirement of any nature to be able to enter a State where Hollybank Wilderness Adventures operates in, all Guests must comply with such requirement. Hollybank Wilderness Adventures will not accept a booking from any Guest that has not complied with or does not commit to such requirement. Where the customer does not meet a vaccination or testing requirement by their appointed session:
    • prior to departure from the customer’s home location, the customer will forfeit any and all monies paid; or
    • entry to the park or access to the service, the customer will be barred from the premises and will forfeit any and all monies paid.
  2. Where the customer cancels due to travel restrictions other than vaccination or testing requirements, the customer will be contacted and offered a credit for the booking, where such an offer is at the absolute discretion of the operator. The operator reserves the right to withhold some monies to cover administrative expenses and other losses, dependent on when notice of cancellation is given by the customer.
  3. Guests are required to scan the QR code for check-in on arrival, and will be asked by Hollybank Wilderness Adventures personnel for visual confirmation of this via the green tick on the relevant QR app. If QR app check-in is unavailable, Hollybank Wilderness Adventures will require your details to be recorded on the onsite COVID-10 logbook, for the purpose of contact tracing only.
  4. Guests are required to provide visual evidence of being fully vaccinated or have a medical exemption to be at the premises, where a Government (Federal or State) requires that a person must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (or any other disease or virus) or imposes a restriction or requirement of any nature to be able to enter a State where Hollybank Wilderness Adventures operates in Approved documents include but not limited to:
    • Australia’s COVID-19 digital certificate. A digital certificate is available for download to smartphone, from the Express Plus Medicare App.
    • Immunisation Record from the Express Plus Medicare App.
    • Medical Certificate stating Exemption from an authorised practitioner.
    • Medical Certificate stating Exemption accompanied by a Statutory Declaration signed by a Justice of Peace (JP).
  5. Masks are to be carried during your visit to Hollybank Wilderness Adventures.  Masks are to be worn when social distancing is not possible, including but not limited to check-in at reception, harnessing, training, around the Home Trees or when waiting on a platform with other Guests who are not part of your booking. They are currently optional on zipline tours.
  6. At this time, spectators must be kept to a minimum. Only spectators and adults supervising children aged 3-17yrs will be able to attend.
  7. Attending Guests who are suspected of having recently travelled overseas, been unwell or showing symptoms or have been in contact with someone with a suspected or known case of COVID-19, will be required to leave the premises immediately.
  8. If the park is forced to close in accordance to State Public Health Orders, Hollybank Wilderness Adventures will follow its Forced Majeure Clause (see ‘Cancellation Policy Section 1.g.’), providing Guests with a booking credit. In the circumstances of COVID-19, booking credits will be valid for 12 months. There are no further extensions on booking credits, except in the case of exonerating circumstances or change State Public health orders.
  9. For changes to bookings requested outside of the specified lockdown periods, the standard cancellation policy will apply.
  10. If after attending the Activity, a Guest takes a COVID-19 test and returns a positive result, they are required to inform Hollybank Wilderness Adventures immediately.

ZIPLINE TOUR & HEALTH INFORMATION

  • Duration: Approx. 2.5-hours.
  • Tour Size: 2 – 12 guests.
  • Day Tour Minimum Age: 3-years
  • Twlight Tour Minimum Age: 12-years
  • Minimum age to fly without an adult supervisor: 13-years.
  • Participants under 35kg or under 8yrs old will be required to fly in tandem.
  • Weight limit: 135kg (solo/tandem). We may weigh you for your own safety.
  • The tour has been designed for persons of average and above level of health/fitness and a capacity to understand basic instructions.
  • This tour has not been designed for individuals with spinal conditions (including neck) or suffering from vertigo
  • A guest should seek medical advice from their doctor should there be any doubt as to their ability to safely accommodate the stresses associated with the Zipline Tour.

SEGWAY TOUR & HEALTH INFORMATION

  • Duration: Approx. 1.5-hours.
  • Tour Size: 2 – 5 people.
  • Minimum Age: 12-years. (Minimum age to participate without adult supervision: 13-years)
  • Weight limit: 45 – 117kg. We may weigh you for your own safety.
  • Segways are an adventure activity and falls may occur. Safe riding may be impacted for individuals with minor physical or mobility issues
  • The tour has been designed for persons of average and above level of health/fitness and a capacity to understand basic instructions
  • Training is provided. Participants must be comfortable being on their feet for at least one hour and be agile to step on and off the Segway unassisted
  • Indication you may be able to participate: Walking up and down a flight of stairs unassisted by the rail, walking stick or another person
  • This tour has not been designed for individuals the risk of osteoporotic fractures or where a fall may increase the severity of a pre-existing medical condition.
  • A guest should seek medical advice from their doctor should there be any doubt as to their ability to safely accommodate the stresses associated with the Segway Tour.

ROPES COURSE & HEALTH INFORMATION

  • Duration: Approx. 2.5-hours.
  • Group Size: Up to 15 people per session.
  • Minimum Age: 4-years. (Minimum age to participate without an adult supervisor: 13-years)
  • Weight limit: 130kg. We may weigh you for your own safety.
  • The tour has been designed for persons of average and above level of health/fitness and a capacity to understand basic instructions.
  • This tour has not been designed for individuals with spinal conditions (including neck) or suffering from vertigo
  • A guest should seek medical advice from their doctor should there be any doubt as to their ability to safely accommodate the stresses associated with climbing a Ropes Course.

WHAT TO WEAR

  • Clothing must be weather and physical activity appropriate.
  • Participants are required to wear enclosed and comfortable shoes without a prominent heel.
  • Waist and shoulders should be covered.
  • Skirts/dresses should be avoided.
  • Warm clothing and weather-proof jacket is advised for cooler months.
  • For safety reasons, pockets must be emptied prior. Lockers are provided free of charge.
  • Small Cameras/Phones: May be permitted if we can safely connect it to your harness/helmet with approved attachments by our staff.
